Washington High School, including the inauguration of the A. Charles Haston Scholarship Award.  All four students are members at their respective campuses of Key Club International, a community service and leadership development club for high school students sponsored by Kiwanis.

Recipient of the A. Charles Haston Scholarship was Aaliyah Mason of Barbara Jordan High School.  Other scholarship recipients included Ciara Valdery and Tiera Chambers, also from Barbara Jordan, and Maydis Delgado from B.T. Washington.
